Do the big optics shops have January sales?
I have upto £250 to get some bins and I am wondering if its worth holding on until the sales.

You can get a pair of Hawke Frontier ED's with the money you have already so you won't be dissapointed if there isn't a sale on.
I would say that some shops might, but binoculars aren't the normal sales stuff. Also the VAT goes up at the start of the year.
Would almost say that if there isn't a bargin out there now then there could be less chance in the new year.
Equally I suspect that a lot will advertise a "sale" as no VAT increase for the first month. Meaning no price hike immediatly.
Tend to err on the side that if you see something you want now then get it, otherwise wait and see what happens. But the what happens will have to be the first month and sales have the habit of not having in them the thing you want.
