Hi, i was using my 8x43 hawke ed,s and noticed that with the eye cups pushed all the way in, i could see a shadow of my eyes or brows ! it was a dark circle in both lenses.
When i pull out the eye cups the shadow goes ! which is good ! but i thought this eye cup pull out system was if you wear glasses ? I dont wear glasses so?
Prob me got it round wrong way but thought i would ask you lot !

eyecups down for glasses and up with out... you just got it the wrong way round lol :)
Eye cups are fun toys, but also try to close them when done, dirt collects inside. There is usually a rain guard as well. This is good for keeping junk in the woods and crummbs from lunch falling in there.
If it has click stops on the eye cups, try all of them, glasses or not, you will find one works best.
