In the 8x category the Swarovski EL 8.5x42 is now ahead of all comparable zeiss models. The 8x45 rangefinder is ahead of the 8x42 FL

In 7x, they have the meopta ahead of the slc with swarobright. However, in the 8x test they actually distinguish the SLC's with the "neu" name which they didnt in 7x42. THey said optics were updated in 2000 for the 7x42 swaro which is not right. I have a feeling kikkert hasnt tested the 7x42 NEU.

THey also do not list ultravids just ultravid HD's. I wonder how the ultravids would do.
Its funny because the 8x42 FL used to be tops, it appears the ratings have dropped over time.
Also, swarovski typically get 11 in robust while alot of the leicas get a 10.
Sometimes a bino will be ranked ahead of another yet score lower. the ultravid HD in 8x42 has 2 categories that scored 10 but it ranks higher than the EL 8.5x42 that had all 11's and one 10???

Not funny at all. In my house, the FL is mine, the EL "hers". I am desperately trying to figure out how to get her to swap. 308, could you please provide a link to a ranking where the FL won? I could show her that and maybe that would help my case. I really dread the CA, but you got to keep up with the times!

they dont show the old rankings when they revise them. these were updated this year.
