I have a pair of Leupold GR 8x32 which is an excellent binoc, but am looking for a lighter weight backup pair of 8x32's. I have read some good reviews of the Vortex Fury 8x32's but haven't seen much press on the Minox BD BR 8x32's.
Does anyone have experience with both or have an opinion on which would be the better choice between the 2?
After reading this forum for a couple of months, I can't believe I can't get some help or a response to my post.

First off, welcome to Birdforum. It sometimes takes a few days to get a comment, or
there just is nobody with any help if they have not tried the bins you mention.
Now, if you read some of the other threads, lately, the Nikon SE 8x32, and EII 8x30 have taken up a lot of discussion. And there is a good reason why. These porros are very good,
and this may be one to put on your "most wanted" list. And who knows, the Leupold may
be relegated to backup while you enjoy the Nikon view.
