what binoculars a little help please.

Hi, new on here so hope this is the right place to ask....
Ive started birding again after 20yrs gap and need a pair of bins.
I have a compact pair of bins 7x22 with no name on them.
I want a new pair for reserves & lakes, ive been told 8x42 will be ok but how much more will i see with 8x42 opossed to the 7x22 ?
Also what make? i only realy want to spend £150.00 to £200.00 so i think its called buget ones?
Ive looked at viking navigator 8x42 also bushnell nature view 8x42 are they any good?
I see on this forum opticron imagic bga se 8x42 are well thought of ? but of course were talking £359.00 are they realy worth saving a bit longer for ?
I also like looking at deer and shipping, the type i want are the roof prisum ones by the way.
Hope you can help
LW.

A recently released binocular by Hawke Optics called the Frontier ED 8x43 costs, I think, 279 sterling. It is reputed to be a real challenger for top-end binoculars costing three times as much. They have a wider field of view than most other 8x bins, and reviewers report them as being very sharp, etc. I haven“t seen a pair (hoping Santa might drop me one), but they are available over your side from Sherwood“s Photo and Green Witch. Have a look at the relevant threads and reviews.

22mm is a little small, but in fact 32mm is enough brightness
7x or 8x is up to you but there are very few 7x models out there in this price, unless you want an old fashioned porro like Nikon Action 7x35
