What is everybodies opinion on what make and type of binoculars are sharpest at the edge and which ones have the biggest sweet spot? Thanks!

I think the SE, followed closely by the LX. Swaroski's (all of them) are very close.

I agree with Luca about the 8x32 Nikon SE, but in my limited experience, the 10x32 Zeiss FL would come second. However, that is definitely not an unreserved recommendation of the SE, as there are many other considerations in acquiring binoculars.
