I've been doing a ton of research and because I can't handle-touchy-feely the binocs that I'd like, I may have to rely on recommendations. I just got a pair of Zeiss Victory 8x42 FL and these are sweeeet! I still have my Leica 8x20 BC that are just awesome except they're a bit short on eye relief since I'm back to wearing glasses. The Zeiss will go with me for firearms hunting in the fall and for general viewing, the 8x20 is my archery/turkey hunting optics.
I'm looking for something in the middle of the two I already have and I may eventually retire the 8x20 Leica. I thought I wanted the Zed Ray EDII 7x36 but at 5.8 x 4.8 x 2.0, these are a bit bigger than I want. I'm a bit leary about the Vortex since I can't find a dealer locally where I can see them but the Vortex Viper 6x32 @ $510 seems nice but could be more $$ than I want to cough up. There's also a 8x28 Viper that's a bit smaller to my liking but the FoV runs about 319'. And Vortex has a 6.5x32 @$260 but I'm afraid it doesn't have good enough optics. And none of the other Zen Rays appeal to me and the 7x36 is the only one I'd consider and it's bigger than a "mid-size" that I'm looking for.
So with at least 16mm of eye relief, what do the birders here think would be a good fit? Thanks.

These are good.
So are these:

I have the older model Eagle Platinum 6 x 32. Very nice binoculars. I'm told that these are better.
