I'm trying to figure out the different brand reputations and price points. For example, Leica and Swarovski are obviously on the high-end in quality and pricing. Barska and Alpen seem more towards the bottom. How about Konus, Kowa, and Vixen?

It depends on the particular models within the Brand. As an example Alpen makes some binos that compete fairly well with the top name alphas, but also make some I wouldn't buy or own. Kowa makes some very good binos, and Vixen has some good/some bad. Barska is generally low end and for the price you can generally do better. Your question is way too general as you need to pick out certain formats and models.
