I think everybody agrees that the Nikon SE's are the very best porro's and probably the best binoculars optically. What in your opinion is the best waterproof porros available and how would they compare to the SE's? I really like porros but there is not alot of waterproof ones out there. Where do you get them for the best price?

Well Dennis you won't like my pick as the best WP porro. The Fujinon 10x50 FMT-SX is an excellent binocular. Heavy yes, IF yes and very,very close to the 10SE and beats it when the light levels drop. I never tried the Swarovski WP porro and would think they might be the best as far as being able to use them birding.

No just the contrary. I have heard that Fujinon is an excellent binocular and has excellent light transmission. Heavy,true but it is sometimes hard to beat those big 50mm apertures for light gathering and resolution. How is it for CA?
