....the West Virginia Cabelas doesn't look more than 3 or 4 hours from Cleveland. I know that isn't necessarily "close" but when you consider the selection they have then the trip would be worth it.
I was in Cleveland a few summers ago for a vacation...zoo, Six Flags Worlds of Adventure and seem to remember a large sporting goods store near the park...Gander Mountain? Dicks Sporting Goods? Might be something worth checking out.
